Visit to Bristol Zoo Project
We had a great day out at Bristol Zoo Project to find out more about Kenya and the continent of Africa. We explored animal artefacts and learnt lots of facts - cheetahs can run at 70MPH, hippos use their huge teeth to scare away animals, a group of zebra is called a dazzle. We pretended to be an ostrich that uses its feathers when dancing and a giraffe that was eating, drinking and walking!
We walked to Bear Wood and saw wolves, wolverines and looked at the webcam to see the hibernating brown bears. We loved seeing other animals too, like giraffes, zebra, cheetah, lemurs and meerkats. We had to look carefully to spot the red panda sleeping in the tree!!
