Another windy day here on the island! This morning we went to Alum Bay. We loved the demonstrations of glass blowing and sweet making (although we enjoyed trying the sweets even more!) and we had a great time making our sand sculptures. 
 

This afternoon, we went to Carisbrooke Castle and learned all about the castle's early history. We had a wet tour of the castle and unfortunately the wind was too strong and we weren't allowed to walk around the walls or go up the keep! Even still, we loved meeting Jack the donkey and watching him work the wheel. We leaned about Charles I who was imprisoned in the castle during the civil war and we found out more about Princess Beatrice. 
 

Right now, we are snuggled under our duvets for film night. We are watching Toy Story 4!
