Marine Day

The eco-committee met with Katie Clubb to find out about her work in Japan helping with turtle conservation and decided to help organise a marine day for the whole school.

Katie spoke about the ways she had helped look after the turtle nesting sites and told us about ways we could help to look after our seas and oceans. We then wrote a pledge about changes we were going to make which would help protect the sea,we thought about how the sea creatures would feel living in a polluted ocean. We then used recycled materials to create different sea creatures.
