What a super day putting our learning into real context! We came away really understanding how children who had to be evacuated in World War 2 really felt. We went on the steam train, learnt how to put out fires, explored artefacts in the WW2 classroom, experienced a very scary air raid and listened to stories from real evacuees . . . Oh, and Miss Stroud and Mr Wilkins caught a German spy!!
