Year 2, Spring 2026
Year two have been very busy with the fire, using it to cook, and create. Despite a hailstorm, we managed to cook doughballs with wild garlic butter and/or golden syrup. We popped popcorn and toasted marshmallows to burnt perfection. We also used the heat to melt wax to make our own fossils and to burn cardboard out of wire decorations.
Alongside all that we have had lots of fun in the mud and the hammock, and have enjoyed watching spring emerge before our eyes, complete with tadpoles in the pond. We even found time to practice our hammering skills - squishing flowers and watching the colours imprint onto fabric.
Huge thanks again to Mrs Rebbeck for gallantly joining us- we really appreciate it. THANK YOU
