We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Music Mark of Recognition again for this academic year!  See message below from Gloucestershire Swindon & Wiltshire Music Hub.

Congratulations!

As a school who actively engages in music provision through a GSW Music Hub partner organisation, GSW Music Hub - Gloucestershire would like to celebrate the value that you place on music in your school by presenting you with the Music Mark of Recognition for Dedication & Improvement.

Within school, we offer termly whole-class music lessons with difficulty of instruments progressing over the years.  Class Stream often start with the peabuzz or ukulele, then through the years in Classes River, Estuary and Ocean, try other instruments including the recorder, violin, guitar and trumpet. Last year, we were even lucky enough to take part in a concert on stage at Birmingham Symphony Hall!

In addition to this, peripatetic lessons are also available in small groups or one-to-one sessions.  Instrument options are sent to parents as and when they are available to us.

Music Mark is the UK Association for Music Education, championing and supporting access to music for all children and young people.
